Patrol Base Abbate provides a space for all veterans and servicemembers to reconnect around shared interests.  The organization aims to facilitate a rediscovery of purpose so servicemembers can reclaim the best version of themselves in service to their families and their communities.

 

I had the incredible opportunity to attend the very first all-women's veteran camp, which was skillfully hosted by the dedicated team at Patrol Base Abbate. During my time there collecting a variety of video and photo footage, conducting insightful interviews, and putting my creative vision for this project into fruition through these inspiring photos and videos, I was able to significantly hone my storytelling skills.
